Welcome to Bee Hut LTD ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all purchases made on our website. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not make a purchase.
2. Products
We sell a range of non-food and food products, clearly described on our website. While we strive for accuracy, product descriptions and images may vary slightly. Please note that our products are made from natural materials such as honey, beeswax, and wood, which can result in variations in colour, texture, and appearance. These natural differences make each product unique.
3. Orders
Orders can only be placed through our website. By placing an order, you confirm that:

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.
4. Prices and Payment

We only deliver within mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland).

6. Returns and Refunds

Food Products: Due to the nature of food products, returns are not accepted unless the product is damaged or defective upon delivery.

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order details and evidence of the issue. Please send photos and details of the damage or defect to info@beehut.co.uk.

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days.

Non-Food Products: Returns are accepted only if the item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Customers must notify us of their intention to return within 14 days of receiving the item. The customer is responsible for return postage costs. Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds will be processed accordingly.

Live Bees: Returns are not accepted unless proof is provided that they are dead on arrival. Customers must provide photo and video evidence to info@beehut.co.uk on the same day as delivery for a refund to be considered.
7. Allergens and Food Safety

Product packaging includes allergen information. Please read carefully before consumption.

We are not liable for allergic reactions if allergen warnings are not followed.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the products. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

Additional Terms and Conditions for Sponsorship Programs
12. Sponsoring a Bee or Queen Bee

Nominal Sponsorship: Sponsoring a bee or a queen bee does not imply ownership of any individual bee or hive. The sponsorship represents a nominal association with a specific bee or queen within one of our apiaries.

Non-Transferable: The sponsorship and its benefits are non-transferable and intended for the sponsor's personal use or as a gift to someone else.

Continued Sponsorship: In the event that your sponsored bee or queen passes on, swarms, or is replaced, your sponsorship will automatically transfer to a new queen or bee.
13. Sponsoring a Beehive (Private Individual)

Non-Ownership: Sponsoring a beehive does not grant you ownership of the hive or any products produced by it, including honey, beeswax, or other hive-related items. The sponsorship is a symbolic gesture that supports our beekeeping and conservation efforts.

Non-Refundable: Sponsorship contributions are non-refundable. Your sponsorship is a donation to support our beekeeping and conservation efforts.

Duration of Sponsorship: Sponsorship is valid for one year from the date of sign-up. You will have the option to renew your sponsorship annually.

Hive Replacement: If a colony of bees in your sponsored hive dies, we will transfer your sponsorship to another hive to ensure your contribution continues to support our conservation efforts.
14. Corporate Sponsorship Terms and Conditions for Beehive/Apiary Sponsorship
14.1 Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the corporate sponsorship ("Sponsorship") of a beehive or apiary ("Apiary") managed by Bee Hut LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By entering into a Sponsorship agreement, the sponsoring company ("Sponsor") agrees to these Terms.
14.2 Sponsorship Benefits

Monthly updates on the health and activity of the Sponsored Apiary.

A predetermined amount of honey produced by the Sponsored Apiary annually (subject to package selected).
-
Opportunities for site visits to the Apiary (subject to package selected).
14.3 Sponsorship Period

The Sponsorship period will commence on the date of the agreement and will continue for one calendar year unless otherwise specified.
-
Sponsorship can be renewed annually, subject to mutual agreement and review of these Terms.
14.4 Sponsorship Fee
-
The Sponsor agrees to pay the agreed Sponsorship fee ("Fee") as outlined in the Sponsorship package chosen.
-
The Fee is payable in full within 30 days of the date of the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
14.5 Sponsor Obligations
-
The Sponsor shall provide us with their logo and any other required promotional materials within 14 days of the agreement.
-
The Sponsor agrees not to use the Apiary or any association with us for any illegal or unethical purposes.
14.6 Our Obligations
-
We will manage and maintain the Apiary to the best of our ability.
-
We will provide the benefits outlined in the Sponsorship package and keep the Sponsor informed about the Apiary.
14.7 Use of Sponsor’s Name and Logo

The Sponsor grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their name, logo, and other branding materials in connection with the promotion of the Sponsorship.

We agree to use the Sponsor’s branding materials in accordance with any provided guidelines.
14.8 Termination

Either party may terminate the Sponsorship agreement by giving 30 days' written notice.
-
We may terminate the agreement immediately if the Sponsor breaches any of these Terms or engages in activities that harm our reputation or the Apiary.
-
Upon termination, all benefits will cease, and any unpaid Fees will become immediately due and payable.
14.9 Liability and Indemnity

We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Sponsorship.

The Sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the Sponsor’s breach of these Terms or use of the Apiary.
14.10 Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information received from the other party during the Sponsorship.
14.11 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14.12 Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

No amendment or modification of these Terms shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14.13 Honey Delivery Policy

Honey will only be sent to UK mainland addresses.
-
Requests to send honey overseas cannot be met by Bee Hut LTD.

15. Sale of Nucleus Colonies (Nucs) of Bees

Health and Inspection: All nucs sold are inspected and deemed healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of collection or delivery. We cannot guarantee the future health or performance of the bees after the sale.

Collection and Delivery: Customers are responsible for collecting their nucs on the agreed date. If delivery is arranged, an additional fee may apply, and delivery dates will be subject to weather conditions and the health of the bees.

Responsibility Post-Sale: Once the nuc is collected or delivered, all responsibility for its care and welfare passes to the customer. We are not liable for losses due to factors such as mismanagement, environmental conditions, or pests.

Replacement Policy: If the nuc is found to have a queen failure within 7 days of collection or delivery, and evidence is provided, we will provide a replacement queen or nuc at our discretion. Requests must be made promptly, along with photographic and video evidence.

Delivery Area: Nucs can only be collected or delivered within mainland UK. We do not offer international shipping for live bees.

Bee Suit Requirement: Customers collecting nucs must bring and wear appropriate protective clothing, including a bee suit, to ensure safety during the handover process.

Force Majeure: Bee availability is subject to factors outside our control, such as weather and colony health. We reserve the right to delay or cancel orders if these factors impact nuc production.
